Every September, the International Childhood Cancer Community launches the #lightupgold campaign, urging buildings, bridges, monuments, and similar structures to be illuminated in gold.
This year, thanks to our initiative and with the support of the Public Lighting Company (JKP Javno osvetljenje), Belgrade will be adorned in GOLD during the month of September. The following landmarks will shine in gold:
Ada Bridge
National Assembly
Branko’s Bridge
Palace of Albania
The GOLDEN color is symbolic of children undergoing cancer treatment because it represents strength, courage, and resilience.
