“Will it look like my hair?”, “When do I need to have my head measured?”, “I’m getting ready for a party!”, “I look beautiful!” – these are just some of the moments and words shared by girls as they receive their new wigs.

Losing hair during cancer treatment is one of the most visible and emotionally challenging consequences of the disease. For many girls, receiving a wig is about much more than appearance – it is about regaining confidence, feeling comfortable in their own skin, and continuing to enjoy childhood, friendships, celebrations, and everyday life.

Through the “Let My Hair Be Your Hair” project, the Always with Children Association provides free wigs to girls who have lost their hair as a result of cancer treatment. Thanks to the generosity of hair donors, as well as the support of partners and friends of the project, 69 girls have received their personalized wigs so far, carefully created according to their wishes and needs.
